MISSION TO MARS

This term we have been learning about mars. Mars is a very cold planet. Mars is four planets away from the sun.There many sandstorms on mars and also alot of rocks. Here is my learning about how you can live and survive on mars.

I really enjoyed making the pods because it was fun and we got to make them with a buddy.

ANAGRAMS

This week in room 24 we have been learning about anagrams, A anagram is when you have one word and change it in to another, for exaple-DEAR-READ.

End Of Year

Hey y'all
Its been another great year here at Owairaka. Its been a really fun year of 2018, im would like to share some of my learning with you, hope to blog again. I  have learnt lots of new things and made lots of new freinds.My favourite part of 2018 was when we went to camp. I won a certificate.

Making A Splash

On Friday, last week we had a Kauri big splash. We did really good in all the races and everyone gave it a try! Our class had won a few races. My favourite race was the Seal race and the Noodle tow.The races I did was the Seal race, Bucket relay and the Noodle tow.

Ratio Art

Last week we were learning about ratios. For this activity we had to mix primary colours (Blue Red and Yellow) To make different colour, then we put tape on a big peace of paper then we would paint it.

 

Class Journal

This week we have been doing our class journals with Mr Presnell. We have really enjoyed doing our journals. T

TABLE TENNIS

On Thursday the 8th of November I had a table tennis tournament,it was on Gillies Ave New Market at the Auckland Table Tennis Centre. It was really fun. I won five games against  like professionals and some of them were just normal kids. I made lots of friends there names, are Claire, Gloria, Aria and lots of other friends, and in the beginning I was really bad but then near the end I started winning games.
