RATIO ART!

For maths we have been learning about Ratios. Ratios are patterns, When we were doing ratios our teacher dicided to do art on Ratios. Here is a picture of my Ratio art.
I have really enjoyed this because we got to do any design and do our own thing.

Speical guess?

 Yesterday somewon came to our school to talk to kauri team, She is well known for boxing, she talked to us about being brave and being corages. She talked to us about her boxing experiant, she has been in the Commonwealth Games and the Olympics. In 2014 she came 9th out of fourteen competiteres. She had got a bronze medal in 2018,

She tought us to be brave and be corages, she said to step out of your comfort zone and try new things make new freinds, and most of all be strong.

Designing Tesselation !!

On Wednesday the 16th Glen came into my class and we did tesselation art, It was so fun my tesselation art was blue and yellow and I made mine with squares and triangles, It was so cool.

LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION!

On Wednesday at Garden to Table, our class were gardening and cooking with Nadia Lim and her dance partner Aaron from Dancing with the Stars. Nadias charity is Garden to Table for the competition. 

I was really excited before they came. Our class was lucky because we got to get filmed and the film crew took photos of us too. I liked watching Aaron putting the pizza in the oven outside. I loved eating the pizza and the anzac cookies that my group made with my mum. 

My group did not get to cook or garden with Nadia but we were lucky because Miss Mills picked me, Anjola and Moala to sit and eat with Nadia and Aaron at the end. Dancing with the Stars is on TV this Sunday maybe I will see my class on the show. Maybe even me.

MISSION TO MARS

This term we have been learning about mars. Mars is a very cold planet. Mars is four planets away from the sun.There many sandstorms on mars and also alot of rocks. Here is my learning about how you can live and survive on mars.

I really enjoyed making the pods because it was fun and we got to make them with a buddy.
