Green Week Bird Talk

It is Green Week and we are learning about native birds. This morning Room 24 and I went to have a bird talk with Miss Best. 

We learned about 4 different birds and 2 predetors. We learned about the Tui, Ruru, Kereru and the NZ Hauk. The 2 predetors were possim and a stote. 

The fact that I most found interesting was That is a Kereru see's a predetor it will camouflage and stay still, and if the predetor is flying around it, it wont get eatin.

International Film Festival

Today Kauri team went to the city and wacthed the International Film Festival . We wacthed 14 films at the Auckland Civic center. There were many schools there, and there were alot of stars on the roof and it looked real. Here are My top 3 favourite films.

 This is  my favourite one because it was quite funny.

 I really liked this one because it was very detailed, it was also a cool obstical course.

   I liked this one because when the Sloth went to get his ice cream it would always drip.

This week we have been learning about everyday Hero's. I have  been working on my word art, we have used 10 words to discribe what a hero is for example, A hero has passion.
